Osman Yigin, kickboxing legend of Belgium

Our second stop in Europe was Belgian city-capital Brussels. We flew in from Poland, following a three-day stay in Warsaw and Sosnowiec.

Earlier this week Lilian posted a new blog on her website covering our visit to the well-known city, being the headquarters of the European Union, and of course, Manneken Pis. However, the highlight was to catch up with my friend of over seventeen years Osman Yigin.

Osman “the Legend” is the former 16-time world champion and 28-time champion of Europe. He has fought all over the world, appearing at the events, alongside Ramon Dekkers, Jean-Charles Skarbowsky, and other legends of Muay Thai.

Multiple times, together with the President of World Kickboxing Network Stephane Cabrera, Osman visited my homeland Belarus. Not only he appeared as the WKN International Supervisor at the events held in Minsk, but has also showcased his talent inside the square circle.

It was indeed “Simply the Best” to catch up in Belgium for the first time in over ten years. I expect my good friend Osman Yigin to visit us in Australia in the near future.
